- Authority to sign
You agree you are the property owner or are authorized to request work on the property.
- Billing calculations
Monday through Friday 7am to 5pm
or
Saturdays from 9am to 5pm (only full day bookings available on Saturdays)

$125 per hour, one hour minimum in primary service area. Two hour minimum in extended service area.
-Standard service area $50 trip charge.
-Extended service area $100 trip charge.

After our minimum, all labor time is billed in 15 minute ($31.25 or $125 Per Hour) increments rounded up to the nearest 15 minute increment. Rates listed are PER technician PER day.
Our Monthly Maintenance Subscribers receive 10% off of the above rates.
Billable time begins when our vehicle is shut off at your address and ends when the vehicle turns on to leave.
- Emergency/Off hour/Same day services
If you are in need of our services Same-day OR on weekends OR prior to 7am or past 5pm Monday-Friday the hourly rate is $250 per hour with a 2 hour minimum ($500)
To receive emergency services you must text us at 404 585 1856 and the emergency must be a threat to life safety IE: Fire hazard, Flooding, Water, Life safety, Security of premises.
- Materials
-We will first come to the job site to identify required materials prior to going to a supplier.
-Time picking up material or ordering material is billable time.
-Since we charge for time picking up material whether it is before arrival to your appointment or during the appointment it is best we go only once if possible. We do not want to make assumptions prior to seeing the job, doing so can result in picking up an incorrect item which would result in a return trip to the store. However, there are instances where multiple store visits are required. We do our best to be efficient and avoid this from occurring however site conditions and changing scope of work sometimes necessitates return trips. Our years of experience has shown us that operating in this manner results in less overall trips to suppliers and lower costs to you.
-If you wish to provide your own materials, you may do so at your own risk however we may not provide a labor warranty on items you purchase. (IE: You buy a new garbage disposal, and it turns out to be faulty out of the box, we will bill for the time installing the first along with time waiting for you to supply another OR we will go pick one up for you.)
-All materials we purchase for the job will have a 15% acquisition fee. This helps recoup costs for fees we pay when you reimburse us for materials using your credit card (3%), sanding blocks, saw blades, consumable tools, trash disposal (up to one bag per job before additional trash disposal costs) and other materials we pull off of the truck/van that we do not directly bill for.
-All materials remain the property of YourHandymanAtlanta, LLC until the final invoice has been paid. We retain ownership of said materials and the right to remove the materials until we are fully paid.
- Pass through costs
Any costs we pass through to you will be marked up 20% above our cost.
Pass through costs are things such as:
-Equipment rentals (Machinery, lifts, tractors etc)
-Subcontractors such as Structural Engineer, Foundation company, HVAC company, Electrical company, Plumbing company, utility search, land surveyor, moving company, transport company or any other person not billed at our standard hourly rates. We receive rates typically 20-30% below retail rates due to our relationships therefore negating our fee, however you may use your own subcontractors if you wish. In doing so we will not manage them or their work.
-Permit fee’s including permit expeditor fee’s, we will also bill for our time at $125hr for obtaining permits when required.
- Rescheduling and/or Cancellation policy
Rescheduling/Canceling within 48 hours of the appointment time will result in a late cancelation fee of $150.
In the event you fail to answer the door we will wait up to 60 minutes before considering it a canceled job. You will be billed for the applicable minimum charge for your appointment (one or two hour minimum and trip charge.)
- Not to Exceed
If you wish for there to be a NTE (Not to exceed) on charges you must communicate it prior to signing the contract, the contract will then be edited by us and the NTE amount will be listed in the form of number of hours allowed HERE: ______HRS

This NTE does not apply to materials costs
When approaching the NTE hours our team will clean up and pack up the jobsite to end as close to your NTE as possible. If the technician has additional time available on their schedule to continue to work then you or your spouse may approve additional time in writing to us at info@yourhandymanatlanta.com or via text at 404 585 1856. Otherwise you will need to book another appointment for us to return.

- Invoice terms
YourHandymanAtlanta will invoice you, the client, at completion of the project OR in progress payments for larger projects. Terms for payment are Net 7 days from date on invoice. You, The Client agrees to pay invoice(s) by the due date(s) specified.
In the event of a progress payment being issued you will have 24 hours to make payment or work may be halted.
A few bad apples have required the following terms. In the event of non-payment, it is understood that you entered this agreement with intent to defraud. In this event we will fully enforce our terms as outlined below.
***Unpaid Invoices over 7 days will be charged a 10% late fee.***
*Added to your invoice will be our costs for all collections, liens and legal fees as outlined below.*
-A 1.5% monthly service charge (annual rate of 18%)
-YourHandymanAtlanta administration rate $150 per hour.
-Attorney hourly rate of $450 per hour. (as of 11/2025)
-Lien E-Filing costs of approximately $76.
-Any court costs as billed to our attorney.
-Any other costs related to our collection efforts including credit card fees.
A lien will be filed electronically on day 21.
We reserve the right to involve police for “theft of services” Per GA Code § 16-8-5.
For amounts up to $1500 we will press for misdemeanor charges.
For amounts over $1500 we will press for felony charges.
If you dispute our billing for any reason, it must be in writing (Info@YourHandymanAtlanta.com) to us prior to your invoice due date. We will not remove late fees in the event you dispute billing on your due date or after your due date has passed. When requested we will share our GPS Data and materials receipts to support our billing. In this event your invoice due date may at our discretion be extended up to 7 additional days.
We provide prompt service, and we appreciate prompt payment in return. Thank you!
- Right to cure
We reserve the right to cure any deficiency within 14 days of notice of deficiency. (Email info@YourHandymanAtlanta.com)
This means that if you provide notice of a deficiency (issue) we reserve the right to correct it ourselves OR hire directly outside of our company to rectify the issue. In the event we or our subcontractor are not allowed on the property to cure the deficiency within 14 days of notice of deficiency the deficiency shall become null and void.
Change or addition in scope of work is billable and not considered a deficiency. IE: A TV is mounted on your wall, you later decide it is not the correct height and wish to move it, that is billable. A deficiency example is a lock we install that is not aligned properly with the strike plate, or a leak on a plumbing connection.
- Payment methods
Payment will be made to the Business via cash or Major Credit card ONLY.
A credit card may be requested to be on file prior to scheduling.
***Checks, Venmo, Zelle and ACH are NOT accepted, please do not send us a check as it will cause your account to receive a late payment fee***
- Warranty
YourHandymanAtlanta provides a one year warranty against defects in our workmanship.
If a product or material fails, the manufacturer warranty if one exists is assigned to you, in most instances they do not cover labor and it falls outside of our workmanship warranty.
If our work is damaged due to neglect or abuse the one year workmanship warranty does not apply. We will also not request warranty assistance from suppliers in the event of damage from neglect or abuse.
If you provide materials for us to install we will provide a one year workmanship warranty, if the material fails you are solely responsible for providing new materials and for the labor cost to install new replacement materials.

We make no guarantee that work will be completed by any particular date. Weather, materials availability, health or other concerns may impact the job schedule. We will do everything in our power to complete work in a timely manner and meet deadlines however any monetary loss you incur due to a missed deadline you agree to not hold us liable for.
- Safety
Shoe’s will be worn in your property for our safety, booties are forbidden by our insurance due to their slippery nature. We will ensure our shoes are clean prior to entering your property.
- Pets
We love pets however we are not responsible for injury, death or escape. You are solely responsible to secure your pets as you deem necessary for their safety.
- Photo and/or Video
We may from time to time take photos or video of our work, we will make every attempt to focus only on our work and not photograph or video any identifying information. You hereby provide permission for us to take photo and/or video and to use it in marketing as we see fit.
- Expiration
This agreement expires when the client in writing via email, text or letter terminates the agreement OR when the company issues a superseding agreement. If a signed agreement is not in force then no work will occur.
- Appointments
Prior to the requested appointment being placed on our schedule all terms and conditions must be reviewed, initialed and signed as required.
Appointment times are approximate. The later in the day your requested appointment is, the more likely delays from traffic, or delays in previous jobs are likely to impact your requested scheduled time. We will make every effort to arrive within the arrival window provided however traffic or delays on other jobs may impact arrival time. You will receive a text message from us when we are on the way.
- Non Negotiable
I have read, fully understand and agree to all above terms. I agree they are non-negotiable and will be upheld by the authority having jurisdiction.
